Could they make this a little more complicated please?

So you think you know who is ahead in the Clinton vs. Obama contest right? You've watched the news - you see the delegate counts and popular vote percentages - so you've got a pretty clear picture, right? Ha! One brave blogger attempted to sort out the numbers for us:

The Democratic party’s nominating process is a kaleidoscope of caucuses, conventions, and primaries, sometimes all in the same state. And there’s no obvious best way to estimate a popular vote from it all.


I got a headache just trying to follow along with the math involved in trying to unravel the mess.
